PMLN5101A PMLN5101 - Motorola IMPRES Temple Transducer - Intrinsically Safe (FM) -- The PMLN5101 features an in-line PTT and noise-cancelling boom microphone. The Temple Transducer enhances communication and safety by not impairing the user’s hearing of the external sound environment. The receiver portion of this accessory rests on the temples and is capable of converting the receive audio from a two-way radio into sound vibration. The sound vibration is transmitted through the surrounding human tissue and bone directly into the inner ear where it is received by the user.

Compatible with APX radios, this APX headset is an IMPRES temple transducer with boom microphone and in-line push-to-talk replacement rubber temple cover (1 pair).

Bone conduction enables you to receive audio without covering your ears, allowing you to either wear hearing protection in extreme-noise environments or keep your ears open to external sounds. This lightweight temple transducer with in-line push-to-talk and microphone provides clear audio as well as comfort for extended wear.
